Fieldwork Officers - EOIs open
KKPAC is calling for Expressions of Interest from members and community who want to take part in Cultural Heritage work as a Fieldwork Officer.
Depending on your skills and experience, you may be involved in:

Cultural Heritage Monitoring – visiting sites, helping to identify and record artefacts, trees, or landscape features, and supporting our Cultural Heritage Officers

Cultural Heritage Officer work – leading assessments, recording and advising on cultural heritage, mentoring junior team members and working with landowners, archaeologists, and agencies
-
Burn Crew – helping with cultural and ecological burns, learning fire practices, preparing sites, and keeping safety front of mind
These are casual positions and work is dependent on project demand. There will also be opportunities to learn and gain the skills you need to succeed in these roles.

Kabi Kabi Rangers - EOIs open
What does this role do?

Kabi Kabi Rangers care for and protect Kabi Kabi Country.

This role involves on-country work to maintain cultural sites, protect and improve the environmental health of our estate.

Rangers work as part of a growing team delivering land, water and cultural management activities across Kabi Kabi Country.
We are seeking Rangers across the whole skill spectrum including:

Senior Rangers

Rangers with experience

New rangers with little/no experience
Multiple casual positions are available (full-time and part-time offers will be made to outstanding (high-performing) employees.

Program Manager | Ranger Expansion
What does this role do?

The Program Manager provides leadership across KKPAC’s expanding Ranger Program.

This role coordinates the multiple ranger teams and bases, setting them up and overseeing program delivery to ensure strong outcomes for country, community and funders.

The position works closely with stakeholders and supports the growth of a high-performing, Kabi Kabi ranger workforce.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position suited to an experienced program leader with a proven track record in ranger or land management programs.

Project Officer | Systems & Performance
What does this role do?

The Project Officer supports the delivery of multiple projects across the organisation, with the ability to juggle these priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This role assists with coordination, administration, reporting and problem solving across a wide range of activities — no task is too big or too small for this person.

Cultural Heritage Coordinator
What does this role do?
-
The Cultural Heritage Coordinator leads the coordination and delivery of cultural heritage activities across Kabi Kabi Country. This includes managing relationships with project proponents, scoping and delivering cultural heritage surveys, tracking recommendations to protect country and making sure works are delivered in line with cultural authority and legislative requirements.

The role works closely with the Lead Ranger | Knowledge & Practice, prepares reports for the KKPAC Board, manages cultural heritage finances, and coordinates the cultural heritage schedule of works.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position suited to someone who has cultural heritage knowledge and can juggle many projects at once, with laser focus and attention to detail.
